Abstract
ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully synthesized using a liquid-phase synthesis via the co-precipitation method. The structural, morphological, optical, and electrical properties of the synthesized nanoparticles were systematically investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the formation of a highly crystalline hexagonal quartzite structure of ZnO without any secondary phases. The average crystallite size was found to be in the nanometer range. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed the presence of nearly spherical and hexagonal-shaped nanoparticles with slight agglomeration. These results suggest that the synthesized ZnO nanoparticles are promising for applications in electronic and sensing devices.
